It's what you do with the music.
Sound Dimensions Disc Jockeys believes it is important to be "creative" with the music. The timing and presentation are critical. Both make a significant impact on the crowd. Your guests should be able to stay on the floor and enjoy the party - - without having them "work at it". It's simple - - your party is successful and your friends and family will have sore feet the next day!
Our show is designed for energy and crowd involvement. It's based on past success, with your input. Guests will be entertained while they dance the night away. We perform non-stop, without any breaks (why does a DJ need a break?). Specific styles of music allow us to plan our interaction with the crowd, program our lighting and "drive" the energy level of the evening... all to make the show more dynamic and entertaining. Everything we play has to be "danceable"!
You’ll hear continuous styles of music. We don’t bounce from Madonna to Sinatra, or from Pitbull to the Four Tops, like many DJs. In between our styles, we’ll slow it down and let you "snuggle" up with someone special. Then we’ll change the style of music and go back to another high energy set. We'll get your requests mixed in where it makes the most sense to keep the crowd dancing.
Music is "smoothly mixed" from one song to the next. Songs aren't cut off, stopped, or started coldly. Often, we use "music beds" in the background when setting up portions of the show, so that silence is never heard... the energy continues from start to finish. We actually "mix" the music, physically, versus letting a computer do the work for us as so many DJs now do.
